Vista-Cay Overview
Vista Cay Resort is located in the International Drive area of Orlando, just off Universal Boulevard, near to the Orlando Convention Center and Pointe Orlando. Universal Resort Orlando Theme Parks (4 miles) and Sea World Parks (2 miles) are only a short distance. Walt Disney World Resort Orlando is approximately 8 miles. Vista Cay Resort is a residential gated community in lush tropical surroundings consisting of 2 and 3 Bed 2 Bath Condominiums and 3 storey 3 Bed 3 Bath Townhouses which cater to both holiday and business independent travellers. The Ventura Condos are rated as Standard, and are on a par with say Floridays Resort or The Fountains, and the Monterey Condos are exceptionally large and rated Luxury or Executive and in the short-term rental market are incomparable. The Bayshore townhouses are also rated Executive and each has its own entrance and a single garage.
Vista-Cay Amenities
Vista Cay Resort amenities include a state-of-the-art elegantly decorated Clubhouse, lounge, tropical lagoon pool and spa, kiddie splash pool, games room, fitness facility, internet library. The Clubhouse swimming pool overlooks Lake Cay and there is a landscaped walking/jogging trail of 2 miles which runs along the front of the Vista Cay, adjacent to the lake. There is now a licensed pool bar open at the Vista Cay Resort Clubhouse (hours vary) for guests to enjoy. The backsplash of the new bar is decorated with colorful mosaic tiles, along with two lamps. The bar area features a large flat screen TV where sports events and movies play throughout the day. In addition, the bar has several high chairs where guests can sit and relax while sipping on a cocktail, as well as domestic and imported beer. So, finally there is a place at Vista Cay to socialize and relax! Whether you want a cold beer, a rum-and-coke, mojito, piña colada, or strawberry daiquiri—you can get it at the new pool bar! The Isles of Cay Commons area which houses four of the Ventura Buildings has its own recreational amenities including a gated area with Cabana and changing facilities; swimming pool and jacuzzi, extensive sundecking with plenty of loungers, set in tropical surroundings. There is also a BBQ picnic area and a 9-hole putting green. Guests staying in The Isles of Cay Commons have full access to all Vista Cay leisure facilities which are just a short walk along the lakefront trail. The Publix Supermarket and New York Pizza place are located in this area.

Morning kym Thanks for ur message The condo is great everything as we thought it would be Car hire was a bit of nightmare if I'm honest. Even though we did the online check in Queue at desk was so so slow They would serve in person then disappear and they were clearly short of vehicles. When we got over to the collection there was hardly any cars. Previously with Alamo we went over and we had about 8 plus minivans to choose from Dollar had nothing sitting The response some are their way ! We had to wait and eventually some vehicles arrived and no minivans. I have ended up with a monster truck ha ha. Omg it is so big Anyway we are of course making the most Just thought I would give u heads up Thanks again for taking care of us James

Hi Kym/David Sorry for the late response. Thank you so much for arranging our early check-in. Everything was perfect and much appreciated. However when we arrived at Melbourne Airport the story was quite different. A nightmare in fact as three Tui planes had arrived within minutes of one another and they have only one carousel to handle the entire amount of luggage for all those passengers. Kym, arrived last night and absolutely stunned by the condo. Couldn't ask for better. Thank you so much. It's so big, that we won't actually have to talk to each other if we don't want to. Beds are so comfortable and the en-suite is bigger than my bedroom at home. It is immaculately clean and has everything we could want. Smack bang in the middle of the 2 pools and the large balcony overlooks the lake.

Afternoon Kym, we have had an excellent break. Everything connected to the property has been top quality and has exceeded our expectations. With this unit sited on the end of level 2 it sits adjacent to the door and 20 steps down to the car park which has proven really handy. Well furnished and secure, safe provided giving additional security for possessions. Location overlooking the lake has provided stunning views and also it’s a short walk over to the shopping block. The view from the balcony was brilliant in the morning and evening, the unit was very roomy with all the amenities you could ask for,the location was great for food, shopping and restaurants. Have returned to Vista Cay development for a second time in August 2018 but to a different condo ref: 11DAT1031. Like before the condo is very comfortable and has all you’ll ever need. For eg, beach towels, hairdryer and even lunchboxes to take your packed lunch to the parks. Swimming pool is never crowded so no nonsense around getting up early for a bed and it stays open until 11 so kids can amuse themselves there at night as well. Location is also perfect you can walk to a Publix supermarket, dunking donuts, pizza, Chinese. But also you’re so close to Universal, Disney & SeaWorld. I wouldn’t consider staying anywhere other than Vista Cay. I feel a car is necessary just gives you the freedom to get to places quickly and it’s definitely needed for the shopping trips.

Arrived to a nice clean apartment. Already had code for lock box, so no checking in needed. Walgreens shop 2 min walk. Larger supermarket, Subway, Dunkin Donuts, Nypd pizza, large burger place with bar, Chinese and Liquer store all within 5- 10 min walk. Vista Cay is well kept and rubbish from apartments lifted regularly . Everything we needed was in the apartment, and even cooked traditional Christmas Day Dinner. Lovely lake and the nearest iride stop is a 15 - 20 min walk, when you cut through the Conference Centre . My only tip is the high price at the pool bar $8 for a bottle of beer! This apartment is great for closeness to the pool and the amenities . I will be booking again, as will other family members Cheers

It really is a lovely apartment and having the wooden floor makes me happy as there are no stained carpets to try to clean (even though I don't own the properties I like to treat them as if I did). The furnishings are lovely with plenty of space. I love the balcony as it gets the sun from lunchtime onwards and I've got an appointment with a good Jeffrey Archer! The pool area is still as well maintained as our very first visit to Vista Cay and the beds are being replaced bit by bit. The communal areas are now being prepped for tiling - again a cut above other communities I've stayed in. Remember this is my 40+ trip to the Orlando area. Love that when we step off the flight we've paid for absolutely everything. You've made that really easy with a wee deposit firstly then the balance a few weeks before we fly.
Comment(Top Tip):- The management company for this condo were excellent. We arrived and there was no power in the bright house box for the tv in the living room. I contacted the management company by email and she came the next day which was a Sunday and they came out on the Monday and it was fixed.

Fantastic condo, immaculately clean, great position over looking the lake. Myself, my wife and two sons stayed here for 12 nights, so glad we chose this accommodation. We have been to Orlando on numerous occasions and have never had accommodation as good as this. The condo was spotless with everything you could possibly need. It was situated in a great position within the resort, very close to the pool and reception. Publix supermarket and NYPD pizza place were a very short walk through a side gate which was very convenient. The resort was very well maintained and very clean. There was a trail around the lake which I went running round on numerous occasions. I would not hesitate to try and book this condo again even if only myself and my wife return on our next visit to Orlando, that's how much we rated it as we can be quite picky about where we stay. The owners and management company of this condo should be very proud of this accommodation as it is a great place to stay.

Just to let you know we enjoyed our stay at Vista Cay on 4th June. All was smooth, and no issues. This was our 3rd stay at this complex and would still recommend. Though it was the smallest condo we had stayed in, the location was the best, just next to the main pool and lake. We have stayed in several condos over the years at Vista Cay resort. This one is the best kept and managed we have used. The condo is even more comfortable than it appears in the photos. The balcony has both sun and shade so is an ideal place to sit even in the hotter summer months as you look out onto a beautiful lake. Jogging or walking around the lake is recommended. Despite it's peaceful location it is not remote. It is within easy driving distance of International Drive's shops and restaurants and all The Parks. There is a Publix supermarket, Pizza Restaurant, Subway and Frozen Yoghurt Parlour all 5 minutes walk away. It's a 15 minute walk along the lakeside across a quiet road to the Convention Centre. Watching the sun set over the lake is our favourite!
